This page is for the kids, they (some of them..) love to eat. And they have special needs and preferences. Please send in any recipes related to the kids, photos, food ideas for them to do themselves, for things they might like, photos that you may have of your kids cooking or eating their favorite meals. Tips or Tricks

Freezing Cookie Dough: place on a cookie sheet, freeze for about 1/2 an hour, then transfer to a freezer bag and put back in the freezer.
Fruit Zest: Zest the fruit and place the fresh peels on a large baking sheet and spread apart as much as possible. Then bake at 170 degrees or the lowest setting of your oven for about two hours. Allow to cool and store in glass jars until ready to use.
Grilling Tip: When grilling, use vegetable oil rather than olive oil. It doesn't burn on the grill like olive oil will. Plus it saves on the cost of olive oil!
Sterilize Your Sponges: First wash out your sponge with soap and hot water. Wring out the sponge and place in the microwave. Heat for 2 minutes on high. Remove sponge with tongs or pot holder it will be VERY hot. Allow to cool fully. The sponge is now sterilized and ready for use.
